Filling

DCN offer two different methods of filling product into casings for Cook-Chill purposes, either using a Pump Fill Station (PFS) or Vertical Form Fill Seal machine.

The PFS has a number of pump options dependent on the products to be filled and the accuracy needed (volumetric piston, lobe or sine).  A load cell version is also available for customers needing to offer bagged product for retail sales.

Our Vertical Form Fill & Seal machine offers a more automated filling solution and is suitable for hot or cold fill.   This machine is equipped with a volumetric piston type pump for accurate fill weights.

Both options are also suitable for filling product outside of the Cook-Chill process.

Emptying

DCN have spent many years perfecting a machine to empty cook-chill bags quickly and easily and have developed the new Model 925 Bag Emptying System.  The machine is a standalone unit with a unique design that will remove product from the bags and empty directly into customers tote bins, Gastronorm trays or depositor.

Trial results using our specially designed bags have shown that typically 99% of product can be removed from the bag at a rate of 6 bags per minute.  This results in less wastage and significant cost savings
